JOB TITLE: Logistics Technician
REPORTS TO: Supply Chain Manager
Job Summary:
Assist supply chain manager with requisition, acquisition, and disbursement, of medical supplies, station supplies, office supplies, and uniforms. Handles order fulfillment to ensure all facilities are adequately supplied and equipped for operations.
Major Job Responsibilities:
Works with supply chain manager to maintain up-to-date and accurate par levels involving all operations equipment and supplies, which shall include, but is not limited to, the tracking of inventory disbursement. Disbursement could include shipping from central supply or drop-shipping from vendors.
Assists supply chain manager in conducting periodic inventory audits to mitigate losses.
Coordinates, with supply chain manager, new facility order fulfillment to ensure those facilities are stocked and ready for operations.
Works with supply chain manager to ensure all medical response vehicles are adequately supplied per the appropriate state and company guidelines.
Responds, if requested, to urgent supply requests providing supplies and or equipment as needed. Work with supply chain manager to maintain adequate par levels of supplies and equipment.
Performs other related duties as may be required.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. with Associate degree preferred.
Experience performing analytical, administrative, and operational tasks.
Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the minimum level of qualifications stated above.
Desired License and Certifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of budgeting and accounting principles.
Knowledge of supply and requisition practices including purchasing procedures and practices.
Ability to establish effective working relationships with the operations personnel and with vendors.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
Self-motivated, ability to work independently with efficiency and effectiveness.
Demonstrates ability to work as part of a team, cooperative and professionally
